The series delves into how the day that shook Mumbai forever changed the lives of thousands of people. The series sheds light on the challenges faced by the hospital’s medical staff as well as other first responders across Mumbai while dealing with a massive crisis. Movie maker Sooraj Barjatya pulled off an epic casting coup when he cast the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and more for Uunchai. The adventure drama got off to a solid start at the box office and on film. The moving plot moved the audience immediately.

The movie revolves around three elderly friends who decide to embark on an adventurous journey to Everest Base Camp to fulfill their late friend’s (Danny Denzongpa) dying wish.
