Movie maker Sooraj Barjatya pulled off an epic casting coup when he cast the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and more for Uunchai. The adventure drama got off to a solid start at the box office and on film. The moving plot moved the audience immediately.
The movie revolves around three elderly friends who decide to embark on an adventurous journey to Everest Base Camp to fulfill their late friend’s (Danny Denzongpa) dying wish. But the journey becomes one of self-discovery for each of them as they push themselves to the extreme emotionally and physically.
